R2 series high voltage relays are designed to carry high current in high voltage applications up to 15kV and are optimized for low loss in RF circuits. Molybdenum/copper contacts provide low stable contact resistance allowing for a 50 amp continuous current carry rating – the highest of any relay variant in this size and form factor. The Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) configuration provides design flexibility by incorporating both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contact sets within a single relay. Continuity transfers between the contact sets when the coil is powered on or off.
